Today, the twenty first of December, we woke up ready to take a bus to the bottom of a mountain. When we arrived at the bus station we had to go for a walk because the bus was not there so we decided to go explore a garden. When we got back the bus was still not there so we decided to try and find a new bus. We all found out that there was another bus that was going to be there in less time.
We had to take a cable car to the top of the mountain because it was so tall and the ride took about ten minutes. We figured out that the cable car went at seven metres per second which seemed very fast.
Once we got to the top of the mountain we started to see the snow up close. We landed in a building and it was warm in the building but outside it was freezing. There was so much snow on the top of the mountain but most of the snow was either too hard, like ice, or too soft, like powder. Matthew and I were very disappointed that we could not make snowballs but we ended up doing a hiking track that was just as fun. In some places we had to slide on the ground and in other places we had to go on our hands and legs.
It was very fun but also extremely tiring so afterwards we walked back and went to a building with a restaurant and we ate Wiener schnitzel and I loved it. It was my favourite food on the holiday so far.
After we finished we waited for the next cable car to come so we could get back down. When we got down we were back on the ground level.
After having a rest we decided to go to the shopping mall to have a look. I ended up finding a necklace that had lots of different Christmas charms that you could switch up. I bought the necklace and was planning to wear it the next day. After we did all of the shopping we went to an ice cream place for dinner and we ordered ice cream. Matthew ordered cookies ice cream and I ordered choc mint ice cream. My mum and dad ordered a very big ice cream sundae and it had three different types of sorbet and ice cream.
